The 15th Annual FWC Section Highschool Design Contest
FWCS HOLDS STUDENT DESIGN CONTEST
FWCS held its annual Student Design contest on Saturday
February 10th in the Tyrone Square Mall. The event was planned by
Steve Elting and was a big success. Numerous bay area high schools participated
in the event, which had students designing a barricade to stop the travel
of a car rolling down an inclined plane. Winning designs successfully
stopped the car without tipping over its hinged "occupant." The winning
schools were: First place East Lake High School: Matt Lusby; Jabiel Hernandez;
Greg Kashmanian. Second Place Osceola High School: Ariel Hensley; Tom Hoehn;
Dennis McKelvey; Phu Nguyen. Third Place Keswick Christian High School:
Ken McQueen, Mike Wolf and Chris Small. Fourth Place Keswick Christian
High School:Ryan Naumschild, Adam Ziedak Stephen Wilt, Earnest Smith.
